Longing Hearts

Serving with the Frontier Mission Team (FMT)
After the FMT retreat held in Dec 2020, in Jan 2021, Tamu and I joined FMT as part time staff after a nudging to be more accountable as we play our part in mobilization and discipleship in Mbarara. Monthly prayer meetings Tamu co-ordinates these meetings the last Friday of the month. They are hosted on a rotation basis between partners homes or workplaces. We pray for the work FMT is doing with a focus on those who have not yet heard about Christ.

Kairos course at Refugee Rising (RR)
RR is the first humanitarian organization in Uganda to take one this course. Ten participants attended the course. Tamu and I (facilitators) were challenged to grow our standard of giving and to think strategically on how the church in Soroti and or Kotido can take the gospel to the Ik and Dodoth since they share a common root language. God seeks to be glorified among the nations, and the Kairos course catalyzes the body of Christ to take her part in making disciples of all nations.

“My eyes have been opened to be a blessing to others. I can as well be a missionary bringing many into God's Kingdom” – Sophie @ RR
