Praying and mobilization are one of our greatest needs in our time if we are to finish the task of world evangelization of the yet unreached peoples. If the great commission is ever going to be fulfilled, it will take passionate men and women with a desire to see workers raised up for these unreached peoples. But for these workers to rise up we have to ask the Lord of the harvest for them, and they have to be mobilized; churches awakened to their mission mandate; men discipled; and prayer movements begun.

Samuel Zwemer once said, ‘The history of missions is the history of answered prayer. It is the key to the whole mission problem. All human means are secondary.’ God in his wisdom has seen it fit to answer his children when they start praying and standing in the gap for these lands and peoples. And FMT is a praying movement that seeks to touch the lost world through prayer.
This is the first step we always highly encourage as FMT as people continue to explore what God maybe calling them to do, that as they become aware of the mission of God that they will join the prayer and mobilization efforts to awaken others, and to raise missionaries.
So our monthly prayer gatherings are one of the ways/tools that are helping us to obey our Lord in praying and fanning the mission passion.
